FINAL - Agreed text for IANA Service Level
(apologies for cross posting) Dear all, I am delighted to attach the agreed Service Level Expectation document, containing the specifics of what ICANN/IANA has agreed to monitor and report. I would like to thank the members of the working group, (Elaine Pruis, Jeffrey Eckhaus, Jeff Neuman, Patricio Poblete, Jay Daley, Adam Smith and ICANN/IANA; Kim Davies, Bernard Turcotte, Elise Gerich, David Conrad) for their dedication and professionalism over the past months. They contributed to over 300 hours of discussions, 8 full WG meetings, 15 sub-group meeting and countless emails ... and it is with pleasure I advise that the first phase is done. I'd also like to thank ICANN staff for their support in facilitating the WG discussions. ICANN/IANA will now plan the scope of work to implement this SLE, operating the service in a test phase/parallel mode to start the necessary real-world data capture. Please circulate the agreed SLE document as you consider appropriate which demonstrates ICANN/IANA's commitment to enhanced reporting and transparency post transition which I am confident will be welcomed by the global community. Kind regards Paul Kane SLE WG Chair.
Hello Paul, Thanks for this very important milestone update. Considering that this was developed "by" and unanimously approved by both parties, I would expect little or no major comment on it. I also note that quite a number of new reporting/monitoring features is being introduced (thumbs up) Speaking about the document being final, is there any intention of putting it to comment from the CWG and/or PC? in near future? Cheers! Sent from my Asus Zenfone2 Kindly excuse brevity and typos. On 31 Aug 2015 12:16, "Paul M Kane - CWG" <paul.kane-cwg@icb.co.uk> wrote:

Thanks Seun Yes, the document is now before the CWG for discussion/ratification as it moves from the Working Group to a formal document of the CWG and the transition proposal. I plan to be on the call on Thursday - I will be on my cell phone though.... apologies in advance for any poor audio. Best Paul Quoting Seun Ojedeji <seun.ojedeji@gmail.com>:

Paul, thank you and the WG for this very sound work! May I suggest just a rather small future amendment: In addition to the textual description(s) of the requested reporting, sample graphics would be very helpful. How does a schematic dash board could/should look like? I'd be eager to see the WG's suggestions to fill the process performance parameters (page 17 ff), as they are probably the demanding part of the envisioned Service Level Expectations. best Jörg ________________________________ Dr. Jörg Schweiger CEO DENIC eG Kaiserstraße 75-77 60329 Frankfurt E-Mail: schweiger@denic.de Tel: + 49 69 27 235 - 455 Fax: + 49 69 27 235 - 235 PGP-Key-ID: 0x6ACD 7361 Fingerprint: 0F4A 0169 8972 D87D 26BE 4BE8 B1D2 8B71 6ACD 7361 Sitz: Frankfurt am Main Eingetragen unter Nr. 770 im Genossenschaftsregister beim Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main Vorstand: Helga Krüger, Andreas Musielak, Carsten Schiefner, Dr. Jörg Schweiger Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates: Thomas Keller
