Fwd: Request for Pop-Up Banner/Table top signs
Hello all, following up on the discussion we had on this month's EURALO discuss call, please be so kind to find a proposal for Pop-Up banners & table top signs. (see attached picture below) Request for Pop-Up Banner/Table top signs: https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=102143194 You can see proposals from other RALOs. Should EURALO order some of these banners for its members travelling to other meetings throughout the year? If so: - how many of each type, and in what language? - do we keep the same style/design as the standard pull-up banner? Please be so kind to voice your reactions promptly as we need to get the ball rolling, should the RALO engage in obtaining such mini-banners. Kindest regards, Olivier image2019-1-22_18-1-49.png
Thank you Olivier! We need to file the request within the next two weeks so please let us know and look at the link to figure out in what banner/pop-up you are particularly interested! Thank you and have a nice day! Matthias ———————————— Ing. Matthias M. Hudobnik matthias@hudobnik.at www.hudobnik.at

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to join yesterday’s call, but looking at the link provided I’d say go for it - prices seem reasonable. I do not have a suggestion with regard to numbers but at least one pop-up banner (what are the size options?) and a few table top ones probably are useful & I’d say all of them in English, as every European language is not realistic and I do not want to give any particular one preferential treatment ;-) But open to ideas from others who might want to use them in a particular language context, and if it’s only printing costs and not additional design work if we provide the text(s) ourselves, then I am totally fine with having other languages too... thanks, Bastiaan *** Please note that this communication is confidential, legally privileged, and subject to a disclaimer: https://www.ams-ix.net/ams/email-disclaimer ***

Good point. I hope staff will be able to provide information on this.

To be clear, the other languages on offer that we already have for our brochures are: - French - German - Russian - Spanish The language could come straight from the brochure and I do not expect that we'd need to make-up new text. Kindest regards, Olivier

I know that in France people will love a French edition of it ;-) or we go for one in each language but this will be maybe too much…?! What does the rest of the members think? Best, M.

A comment with regard to the German translation of the Flyer: The part where it says “The Internet is yours” - albeit the translation “Das Internet gehört Ihnen” is absolutely correct and also polite it sounds a bit strange. No German would say it like this. Better might be “Das Internet gehört Euch” Just in case this will be part of any future material. Best Sandra (Note: This message was sent from my mobile device - I apologise for any misspelling.)
