All, I see that the discussion is again getting polarized - with people stacking on the two extreme options. Would the middle ground of April 22 be acceptable to everyone? So that we can close the discussion and start discussing nominations. The only other option is to stick to the process agreed in Lisbon, which is the default if we can't agree to change it. But I really think that if we all are reasonable, then we can find a compromise that is good for everyone. So, does anyone really object to April 22? Thanks, -- vb. Only if solution 1 is really not possible. Rudi Vansnick

Hello, there seems to a missunderstanding. The deadline for the nominations is not the 15. April 2007. It is the 22. April 2007. But in Germany we had holidays till today, so there was no posibility to discuss the nominations in our organisations. Therefor would be the 1st of May much better. Hello all, sorry, we are only just back from Easter holidays and have been organizing a huge demonstration against Data Retention here in Germany last Saturday. So I strongly support Thomas and Werner: Give us some more time for discussion in the organisations in Germany. I think the 1st of May is the earliest for a reasonable decision, better would be the 15th of May.
