Good morning fellow EPDP colleagues, as requested by Edmon, here is a short introduction of myself. My name is Michael Bauland and I'm representing the Registrar Stakeholder group. I'm employed at Knipp, a German based (UTC+02:00/UTC+01:00) ICANN accredited registrar and software company specialised in software for the domain industry. Among others we've developed and operate our own registrar and registry software (though we are not a registry ourselves). My interest in IDN started several years ago, when we had to encode the IDN support for the Arabic script TLD بازار (bazaar) and its complex variant rules. Following this I became a member of the Latin Script Generation Panel and the ccPDP4. I'm looking forward to working with this team.
