Hello Team, I know the development of a project plan was a brief subject of discussion today and no firm decisions were made, but given some of the conversation on the call and of course Darcy’s email below, it seems that it would be helpful. Not anticipating any objections, staff will prepare a draft work plan, that should really just flow from the current Word doc version, but be in a hopefully more user friendly, visual format. I think it may make a great deal of sense to not manage this project in the Word doc with redlines. I'm not suggesting we can't have the written Implementation Plan. But it would be much easier for the members to have access to a sortable chart to identify priorities, due dates, status, who is working on each item, etc. A lot of the chat during today's call points to concerns about how we know what's next, when something is due, how we prioritize what we're doing, etc. A project plan in a Google spreadsheet or an Excel file that offers the ability to prioritize and sort would be helpful.
