I agree with Kiran that adding time may exclude the ability of some members to be heard during these meetings. From personal experience, I remember arriving near the end of the Friday meeting in LA and my ears were ringing when I heard about all the things that had already "been agreed upon" by the members present. OTOH, I appreciate the usefulness of these sessions for substantial discussions that can go deeper than the weekly one hour calls. I therefore support the additional day, but would encourage not to declare agreement on various contentious issues when some members have not even had a chance to be heard on these. "Discuss, not decide!", should be the general sense of this meeting. I do not support Kirans other suggestion though, as our weekly schedules are full enough with ICANN as it stands, and we all have day jobs (and a private life) too... I would urge looking at the 19^th rather than the 26^th .
I am one of the few people who participated in both the LA F2F of this WG and the Singapore F2F of the IGO WG.
While the meetings were not directly comparable in terms of travel distance (for me), overall meeting workload intensity, and personal responsibility (I Co-Chair the IGO WG), it is still my overall opinion that, if a F2F meeting is appropriate for PPSAI in June, it will be much better to hold it on the Friday before the ICANN meeting starts in terms of focus and productivity.. Participants may be jetlagged but they are still fresh. By the time the Friday after the meeting arrives many participants are spent physically and especially psychologically.
Take that for what it’s worth.

Hello everyone,
As mentioned on the call, policy staff are currently checking to see what other meetings have already been scheduled for Friday 19 June that may involve a number of our WG and/or GNSO participants. Assuming there is no major conflict found, we will follow up with a Doodle poll to see which day/date works best for most people.
We thought we should also note that it will likely be very difficult to try to schedule the WG face-to-face meeting for Thursday 18 June (rather than Friday 19 or Friday 26 June), since that will likely add substantially to the travel costs for many people who have not been planning to be in Buenos Aires much before the actual start of the ICANN meeting or who are not otherwise supported travelers for the GNSO weekend sessions. As such, we suggest that the choices for the poll should be limited to one or the other Friday if possible.

After a full week of meetings (many of us have activities scheduled over the weekend prior to the official opening) most of us are exhausted by Thursday and probably wouldn't be mentally or physically at our best for a productive meeting on the Friday.
