The IANA transition is a very important and interesting topic for discussion.
However this PDP¹s mailing list is not the appropriate venue for those discussions. There are plenty of other mailing lists and groups where the discussion would be more pertinent.
If you have a burning desire to discuss it with some of this group¹s members please do so offlist.

While I'm flattered that anyone should even notice anything I published anywhere, I think there are other venues around ICANN that are concentrating on the IANA transition, and I suggest that perhaps their mailing lists are a better place to discuss that topic. This PDP will almost certainly proceed the same way regardless of what happens with the IANA stewardship transition, and it is helpful to keep the list discussion focussed on the topic at hand.
