Greetings everyone, I am Kristine Dorrain, Corporate Counsel for Amazon Registry Services, Inc. I look forward to participating in the Working Group. I have been involved in ICANN for 10 years and have participated in several working groups. Before I joined Amazon, I was the Director of Arbitration for the Forum, a UDRP and URS provider, and was closely involved with the implementation of the URS as its first Provider. My participation in this working group will primarily focus on Amazon's involvement as a domain name registry. Hi everyone. For those who don't know me, I am a co-founder of Donuts Inc and a former SVP at Network Solutions. I have been involved in the development of RPMs for many years. I chime in to introduce myself, a US-based trademark and domain lawyer for 20 years. including a dozen years working with ICANN to improve its policy development and rights protection mechanisms. My first ICANN meeting was 2004, and I was elected to the GNSO Council from 2006 to 2010 by the Business Constituency (and also as an Officer of the BC). I chaired the GNSO Working Group that found an effective solution to the "domain tasting" problem, and participated in at least half a dozen different working groups relating to the New gTLD Program, including the RPM-WG and the STI implementation team. Currently I chair the International Trademark Association's Internet Committee -- Subcommittee for RPM Review. I also participate in the GNSO's IGO Names and Subsequent Rounds WGs, and the CCWG-Accountability group looking at changes to ICANN's Bylaws and accountability mechanisms. I look forward to working with so many new people to examine RPM issues, and greatly appreciate J. Scott, Phil and Kathy for their time and expertise volunteered to this important work! Hello everyone, Great to e-meet you all. I am an associate at the Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet), a multistakeholder platform for Kenya ICT policy discussions. My background is constitutional law and IP/culture are among collective rights under Kenya's Constitution. I studied the dot Africa case (still ongoing) and it was interesting to note African perspectives on rights protection which extend beyond copyright. Hence my interest in this group.
