Since I cannot attend due to the conflict with the Sub Pro IRT, my only request is that during this discussion, Leadership and staff be able to consider with the group which of the comments and recommendations in the summaries have been out for public comment and which have not been out for public comment. In general, this may mean distinguishing between public comment recommendations/comments and those with originate with staff. If a recommendation or comment has not been out for public comment, we should seek public comment before recommending to Council. Thank you Chris and Desiree for contributions you are making wherever you are. Agree maybe a Doodle poll on this meeting time is in order. With respect to any recommendations that involve interaction between Council and an IRT, I am likely to have comments after reviewing the Zoom. For example, Council previously advised the Sub Pro ODP that if ICANN Org is unable to or recommends against following Implementation Guidance, that assessment needs to come back to the IRT, or any relevant GGP, or to Council directly. My sense is this is causing some frustration at ICANN Org. By way of example, Susan and I will be bringing an issue to Council in the May meeting where the IRT believes that the approach taken by Org does not comport with the Recommendation as adopted by the Board.
