First of all, my dear friend Sarmad, I would like to apologise for delaying the report regarding the proposal of the Greek Generation Panel. Please believe me, my workload had not been lighter at all and the last month I had to go every weekend (both days) at the office in order to finish on time before my summer leave. Which I did (fortunately my family was in Athens), but I had no time to work with the report of the Panel. I would also like to apologise for not responding to your last what's up message (about two months ago), but I was hoping that things would have gone better and that I could give you a specific date. And then Elena called me and she told me that you are really under pressure, for which I am sorry. The problem is/was that Vaggelis has the same or even more workload! Believe it or not, we haven't seen eachother for two years now - and he had been twice in Brussels, but our schedules could not synchronised. Dear Pitinan, thank you for your kind proposals to help with the report. When I had met with the Latin Panel in Brussels I was very happy discussing about this fascinating topic with people of the same type although that that was really a stressful day. And at that day, I felt that we were close to finish. But for the reasons I have already mentioned before, it was impossible, although I had made some small steps ahead, here and there. Anyway, now I am writing to you from Athens, Greece. I came from Brussels at early morning of 30th of July. These last two days I did my best to keep my promise and finish by the end of July. So today, 1st of August, please find attached the (hopefully) final draft of the "Proposal for Greek Script Root Zone Label Generation Rules". Of course, comments and suggestions are welcome. I will be very happy to discuss with you. I will be available in the afternoon (Greek time - now it's 8.30am) if you would like to call me.
