Ah, I reacted too soon to Wolf's message, hadn't seen this yet. If we can defer the decision to the Oct 1 call, it would be better. I doubt the comment period on the ICANN process will alter the need to appoint a liaison, but we could probably devote more time to the topic if it were deferred. --MM

Is there some uncertainty about the existence and role definition of that liaison still somewhat uncertain until the accountability process itself is finalized after the current comment period completes? I’m thinking that perhaps we could start our discussion about this on the mailing list and aim to complete it during or shortly after our next call (Oct 1).
