Moderator for Monday Session
The suggestion has been to have an independent moderator. I have reached out to Pindar Wong that unfortunately can not be here in time, so, please suggest moderator! Patrik

A bit short notice. No immediate suggestions. The important thing is that Mohamed and Patrik are free to speak as chairs and not be moderators at the same time. So another ICG member would work in a pinch. Daniel
I can suggest the following local candidates: Dr Tan Tin Wee http://internethalloffame.org/official-biography-tan-tin-wee http://www.bic.nus.edu.sg/~tinwee/ Prof Ang Peng Hwa http://research.ntu.edu.sg/expertise/academicprofile/pages/StaffProfile.aspx... Other suitable candidates may be most likely found in the Academic or Civil Society communities, which in many cases would have the needed neutrality. Someone like Bill Drake, for instance. Paul, colleagues: I think we are placing too much emphasis on the "neutrality" of the moderator. Everyone will come to this role with views and baggage, so I doubt there is any truly neutral moderator. The main point we need to focus on is to make sure that we have an interactive conversation with the audience. That is what will make the interaction neutral and useful - a update on status and procedure followed by a robust exchange of views. Best Joe On 2/5/2015 5:30 AM, Paul Wilson wrote:

Agree, my point with "neutrality" is not that the individual should be neutral, but that the individual do understand that as a moderator the job is to ensure the voice of the people on the panel are to speak, not the moderator. Patrik

I support Paul's suggestion. Either of these gentlemen would be good moderators, as would Bill Drake. Lynn On Feb 5, 2015, at 5:30 AM, Paul Wilson <pwilson@apnic.net> wrote:
