No problem, as long as everyone in LACRALO is clear that any work I do from now to October is legitimate and the NomCom is legitimate and its decisions are legitimate. The NomCom relies on the trust and confidence of ALL the stakeholders in the MSH model, so it's important that there is no-one who holds the idea that NomCom decisions voted on by me after July 31, 2012 are illegitimate That would place all the decisions of the NomCom under a cloud, IMO. You are correct. The current nomcom term ends at the commencement of the AGM. Typically this is held on the Friday of the Toronto meeting.
I am not sure if this year it will be held as usual, as the Board has decided not to hold their traditional Board meetings on the Friday. I suspect they will announce their AGM plans sometime in the next few months.
But you continue to be a representative to the 2012 Nomcom until the AGM. There is no artificial end of July date. Last year the sitting NomCom had to deal with a matter just days before the AGM.
