to me, it's helpful to get a quick sense of what the message is about, but of course nowhere near what we really need, so for serious discussion and documents and statements - not so good. But better than nothing - I sometimes skip messages in Spanish if I am busy or tired, as it takes too long to puzzle through it.., even though I can read Spanish to some extent.
