Dev: We are firmly opposed to any involvement of ICANN in content regulation. This is why I strongly condemned the Morality and Public Order Objection in the gTLD process and involved myself in drafting the official ALAC response to it at Paris. This is where I stand and shall remain. Carlton Samuels On Wed, Mar 18, 2009 at 6:07 AM, Dev Anand Teelucksingh <admin@ttcsweb.org>wrote:

is the mention that the proposed CyberSafety Constituency ( http://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/#cybersafety) is "an extension of the CP80 Foundation ( <http://www.cp80.org> http://www.cp80.org/). CP80 is devoted to systematic, global censorship of internet content in order to eradicate pornography."
In my opinion, ICANN should not be involved with content regulation. Thoughts?
