Me gustaría conocer mas profundamente cualquier son las razones para eliminar las restricciones. Creo que ya estamos en un mercado concentrado y al parecer la eliminación de estas restricciones no haría sino que concentrar aun mas el mercado de los nombres de dominio. De seguro algún economista me va a argumentar que lo importante es el bienestar del consumidor final, pero a mi juicio esto sólo significa una mirada microeconómica del problema y que a mi juicio ha permitido la concentración de los mercados con la carencia de mercados competitivos. Creo que ademas como bien señala la declaración que pueden existir problemas que son regulados por el derecho de la competencia. Me surgen las siguientes preguntas concretamente: 1.- ¿Cuales son las razones defintivas para eliminar las restricciones? 2.- ¿Cuales son los beneficios estimados para los usuarios? 3.- ¿Que pretende hacer ICANN para asegurarse de que el mercado incremente su competencia? I would like to know more deeply what are the reasons to remove the restrictions. I think we are in a concentrated market and apparently after of removing these restrictions we would have a more concentrated market for domain names. Iam sure that some economist will argue that what matters here is the consumer welfare, but I think this is a microeconomic view of the problem and I believe that this has allowed the concentration of the markets and with lack of competitive markets. Also, I thinkas it was pointed out by the statement that there may be problems that are regulated by competition law.
From my point of view, the following questions arise:
