EN Dear Region, The LACRALO Group on Governance met to reach a proposal on the Regional Rotation for the Electoral Process to begin with the upcoming 2019 Regional Elections. Therefore, we are opening the proposal agreed to by the LACRALO Group on Governance. Here is the proposal for this process: The positions to choose and the correspondent subregions are: Chair - MERCOSUR (SUBREGION D) Chair-Elect - CENTRAL AMERICA (SUBREGION A) Secretary - ANDES (SUBREGION B) Secretary-Elect - CARIBBEAN (SUBREGION C) ALAC Member - MERCOSUR (SUBREGION D) [Argentina Excluded] Member of the NomCom - CARIBBEAN (SUBREGION C) In cases where there is only one candidate, in any position, the candidate will be considered elected by acclamation and without further need for a vote. The vote will be open from Wednesday, 12 June 2019 16:00 UTC until Monday, 17 June 2019 23:59 UTC.
