Dear Latin GP members, We have further reviewed the XML and found that the version previously submitted needs a few more update. Please find attached the update XML and HTML. List of attachments: * proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en-updated.xml * proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en-updated.html Edit log: 1. Update the MSR from MSR-4 to MSR5 in multiple places. 2. Implement full transitivity. Therefore, the 50 variant sets are exactly the same as what listed in Table 17 of the proposal. As this is aligned with the proposal document signed off by the GP, we plan to forward these to the IP by tomorrow around this time (25 Aug, 15:00UTC). Please let us know if you have any concerns. Appendix B - Table of Languages Used to Develop Latin Script Repertoire. List of languages are separated by commas. Appendix C - Repertoire Table Grouped by Glyph The table row’s numbers has been refreshed. Appendix D - Variants Analysis This a cover page for appendix D. The list of D.x has been added. Appendix D.1 - Shape of Base Characters Section D.1.15 has been added to include the analysis of newly added code points from Kpelle and Serer. Appendix D.2 - Spacing of Base Characters No change from version 6. Appendix D.3 - Shape of Diacritics No change from version 6. The variant analysis of the newly added code points is in Appendix D.1. Appendix D.4 - Stacking of Diacritics No change from version 6. Appendix D.5 - IDNA 2003 Compatibility The changes can be found in the redline version (Appendix D.5 - IDNA 2003 Compatibility-v7-vs-v6). Appendix D.6 - Underlining Evaluation Process An ‘a’ was added in the first paragraph. Appendix D.7 - Generic Glyphs Suggested editorial changes have been incorporated. Appendix D.8 - Caron Above Additional explanation on t,l,d with Caron has been added. The changes can be found in the redline version (Appendix D.8 - Caron Above-v7-vs-v6). Appendix D.9 - Cross-script Variants Editorial update in the introduction paragraph. Appendix E - Visually Confusable Glyphs Additional effects from new code points and Greek proposal have been added. The changes can be found in the redline version (Appendix E - Visually Confusable Glyphs-v7-vs-v6). latin-test-labels-15aug21-en.txt First submission of test labels file. proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en.xml proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en.html All feedback has been incorporated. Please note that the variant mapping comment “Glyphs nearly identical due to font design” is consistently applied. As per agreed on the call on 12 August. This package has been finalized during the meeting and ready to be shared with the IP. These are being shared with the IP accordingly. However, if you have any further feedback. Dear Latin GP, Please ignore the previous email. There is one more update to the file. The Unicode version is updated from 6.3.0 to 11.0.0 as per MSR-5. It's a small editing in the header of XML and HTML. Please find attached the files: 1. proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en-updated2.xml 2. proposal-latin-lgr-15aug21-en-updated2.html I kept the file name to be the same as the version 7 date (15aug21). These files is being share with the IP.
