I disagree. We have a statement already that covers many aspects and we don't need another until we see what the group comes up with. If we really want to be impactful we can see if we can come to consensus to write public comments in these instances. Dear All, As I was writing down the suggested topics, such as ICANN strategy, and the Budget, I've checked the closing dates of the public comments it will be by Feb 11 and Feb 8th, those dates doesn't match with the schedule below to have the final draft statement ready for final discussion and approval at Kobe meeting. This doesn't mean that we eliminate such suggestions but to encourage the formation of a group to work on the Strategy or the Budget to publish the statement before the closing time of the public comments. As for the ME Space community topics, it would be good to take into consideration the schedule below and the release of a timely statement that is not overdue which will loose its impact. In my personal capacity, I would like to propose that the ICANN 64 ME Space address the proposal made by Neustar regarding the upcoming new gTLD application round. The proposal of Neustar is a little bit problematic in my opinion and needs us to address it since the Chair of the SubProc subgroup A asked for the opinion of the ICANN constituencies about it.
