The sponsorship agreement expired in 2006, so at this point it's operating without any contractual authority. Of the three sTLDs that came up for renewal last year, .MUSEUM got a six month time extension in March, and .COOP is supposed to be reapproved this week, but there's been no action on .AERO since June of 2006, a year ago, when the staff was supposed to negotiate a new agreement. What's the status of my .AERO domain? Since it comes up for renewal on Thursday, this is a question of some urgency to me. Tnx.
