I have seen the spam occurring in the forum section only. I used other open source forum tools similar to this one that prevents spamming such as the one that is happening in the alac site.
Well, as we've been saying, if someone were managing the site, he or she or they would be dealing with the spam, mechanically or manually. Having run a fair number of such sites, I can report that mechanical means help but are not perfect. R's, John

I can volunteer to manage it. However, about the forums, I visited them and found what it seems to me to be spam. The posts are being used to sell merchandise. Anybody knew about this?
Unfortunately, a large part of the job of managing any participatory web site these days is weeding out the spam. One of the results of nobody managing icannalac is that there's lots of spam.
