Should I also be filtering Karl Auerbach? His post was no less stupid, and an shining example that experience does not always lead to wisdom.
Unlike Jeff, Karl is a real person. He is certainly bitter and negative, but his positions are informed by far more direct ICANN experience than any of the rest of us have. It is worth keeping in mind the possibility that the reason he says what he says is because it's true.
