I would prefer competitive elections. I brought this up repeatedly during phone calls and in our General Assembly.
The lack of competitive elections is a symptom, not a problem. If a job offers so little reward and so much work that we can't find two people willing to do it, the problem is with the job, not with the election. I also have to say that complaints from people who demand competitive elections but are not willing to be a candidate are impressively hypocritical.
