Re: [NA-Discuss] Please kill the NA-ALS list
Wendy: You are a moderator, that's why you're getting those messages. I'm happy to remove you as a moderator if you wish. As to the list, as previously stated, my understanding is that this will remain in use for voting delegates - if that's not true, we can get rid of it. It's not true. Please kill the list. --Wendy

Hi Nick The minutes of the teleconference said - remove the ALS lists for all regions and leave the discuss lists for all business. This is my understanding too. It's perhaps not the most efficient way of recording votes, but let's keep the "official" voting list until we come up with a better solution. Bret

It seems reasonable to have one list (NA Discuss) open for public discussions with everybody contributing and one list for voting purposes with only voting members on it (NA-ALS). Perhaps what we need to discourage is having people post to both when posting to only one is what is needed. Just my two-cents worth. We have a web-based voting tool that ALAC and some of the RALOs use for voting. I believe it will be used in NARALO soon, in which case - would you still need the list? Remember the NA reps voted in the ALAC teleconference to cancel the ALS list.
