Dear ICANN Team,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to seek clarification on a few points regarding the New
gTLD Program application process.
First, regarding the application fee payment: Is it mandatory for the
applicant organization to make the payment directly from its own
institutional bank account? For instance, if the applicant is a
municipality or a large public entity, must the primary payment
originate from their specific accounts, or can it be made by a
third-party entity authorized by the applicant? If payment by a
different legal entity on behalf of the applicant is permitted, what
specific additional authorization documents or financial proofs does
ICANN require to validate this arrangement?
Secondly, I have a question regarding Registry Service Provider (RSP)
selection. Beyond the standard evaluation fees (such as the $227,000
application fee), are there any additional fees required by ICANN
specifically related to the selection or designation of an RSP during
the application phase?
I look forward to your guidance and detailed information on these matters.
Best regards,
