RSSAC Admin Committee supports the formation of such a Community Coordination Group. RSSAC Admin Committee understands that participants in CCG will not be representing or defending the views of their appointing Supporting Organizations/Advisory Committees. On the other hand, RSSAC Admin Committee thinks RSSAC’s engagement with CCG is important as a number of checks and balances RSSAC said it needed in the Root Server System Governance Working Group (RSS GWG) process are covered in the Work Stream 2 recommendations. Please consider this note as a call for volunteers to serve on the Community Coordination Group to be formed.
