This is truly heartbreaking news. Rubens was an exceptional colleague insightful, composed, and immensely knowledgeable. Working with him in SubPro, the IRT, and many other groups was both a privilege and a learning experience. His calm wisdom, technical depth, and balanced perspective enriched every discussion and left a lasting mark on all who had the honor to work with him. His passing is an immense loss to our community. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones, may they find solace in knowing how deeply he was respected and how enduring his legacy will be.
