Dear Mark, For #1 - "just send email from site" implies at least - accepting EAI via profiles, database, etc - displaying EAI on some pages - have a EAI-capable MTA I'm not sure it's a lightweight variant comparing to full support. Thanks, Ajay. We had a few minutes to discuss your topic, but not very much, sorry.
For #1, I think this is a simplified version of Phase 1 EAI Readiness. But I also think it is the first time we mentioned Phase 1 EAI Readiness outside the context of an email service stack. So it’s an interesting new category and we should decide what to do with it.
For #2, we didn’t have anyone on the call who felt they could volunteer, but I like the idea.

Hello Mark
I wanted to bring two points for your discussion and consideration.
1) What it takes to be UA ready if the website has to just send emails to an EAI address. ? i.e newsletter etc
2) Is it possible to have few people from our EAI WG (or outside group) who are not having UA ready website and would like to volunteer to be UA ready and our tech group helps them to be have a UA ready website ?
The idea is to capture some real / practical practices followed to be "UA ready for a website" where a website can send an email to the EAI addresses.
Note : To achieve above, it is Not MUST to have fully EAI ready or to receive emails from EAI addresses, as even if the website email solutions is not EAI ready, sending EAI server will Auto downgrade and deliver emails.
Thanks
Ajay

There are a few miscellaneous topics from last meeting, but I’d like to discuss ICANN 66 at our upcoming meeting a few hours from now. Let’s plan out our PPT and what we’ll cover at the various UASG sessions throughout the week.
