Integrated Issues Report draft

Dear colleagues, As discussed last week, we are circulating for your information the current draft of the Integrated Issues Report, compiling all of the material created to date. We will circulate the section on User Experience issues (section 5.3.2 of the report) under separate cover shortly, so that we can begin discussing this set of issues. This draft of the report is intended to inform the team's discussions at the face-to-face meetings next week. All team members are requested to review and become familiar with the document prior to the meeting. We expect that discussions on the mailing list will continue in the interim. On this Wednesday's team call we will also discuss the agenda for the face-to-face meeting, and any suggestions for the agenda from the team based on the current draft are also welcome. I am confused. On Dec 6 the draft report was sent to this mailing list. A number of comments where sent in. Then today I saw an announcement on an external mailing list (Unicode) that a public comment period have started on some version of the document. Questions: Are these the same documents? (I admit I have not done a detailed comparison, but I do not have energy comparing a word document with a PDF at this time of the day...) If so, why did not the public comment period start on Dec 6? If not, why was not a new version sent to this list that was approved before it was opened for public comments? I do have more questions on the process here, but what they are will depend on the responses on these two questions. You are correct about Russian having 33 letter - good catch! I think the same can be said for Ukranian, but I'm less sure about that, so someone should really check those numbers. jaap
