Guidelines Subteam Meeting with ASO

Dear Subteam Members, ICANN staff have secured a room for a meeting with ASO representatives in Boardroom 3, Monday 26 June 14:00-15:00. We have invited ASO AC members attending Johannesburg meeting. It's also likely we'll a few joining us remotely. While initially it was thought I and maybe Alan (depending on his availability) would meet with the group as a representatives of our subteam, all subteam members are welcome to attend and participate. Tomorrow's Guidelines Meeting

Dear All, Jason's response to the subgroup posted to the list last week. He cannot speak for the ASO and we were not able to quickly organize an ASO meeting as we had hoped. Right now, that is a gap in our information. Unless anyone has business that they would like to discuss tomorrow, I am inclined to cancel the meeting and have next scheduled call which would be the week before ICANN59. Please let me know ASAP. Per the ASO MoU only the chair of the NRO EC can speak on behalf of the ASO, and only with the unanimous agreement of all 5 NRO EC members. I have copied the NRO EC chair. I suspect he will need to discuss this with the other NRO EC members before they can respond formally. I will also pass this email along the the ASO AC for their consideration, but only the ASO AC chair may speak on behalf of the ASO AC.
