Dear all,*[with apologies for cross-posting]*I hope everyone is well as 2024 winds down.I'm getting in touch to share some resources which may be of interest to those on the list as they relate to internet governance and aim to support civil society in efforts to uphold multistakeholder and rights-respecting approaches to internet governance.*Regional roundtables on internet fragmentation*The first set of resources pertain to internet fragmentation. Over the course of the past year, Global Partners Digital has collaborated with fellow civil society organisations to host a series of online roundtables on fragmentation. Each of those roundtables has a summary report and we've also written a short report that summarises the key findings from across the roundtables. That report identifies commonalities and differences in the regions and collates a set of recommendations for different stakeholder groups. You can find all the reports via the links below. - Regional Roundtable Briefing: Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in Europe <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/regional-roundtable-briefing-internet...> - Regional Roundtable Briefing: Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in Latin America and the Caribbean <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/regional-roundtable-internet-fragment...> - Regional Roundtable Briefing: Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in Asia Pacific <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/regional-roundtable-internet-fragment...> - Regional Roundtable Briefing: Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in Sub Saharan Africa <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/regional-roundtable-internet-fragment...> - Cross-regional report on Internet Fragmentation <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/regional-perspectives-on-internet-fra...> *Advocacy Bytes*Advocacy Bytes is a series of case studies of civil society engaging in internet governance processes. It records the tactics used, challenges faced and lessons learned from this engagement, with the aim of supporting more effective future engagement. We've just relaunched the series with a new case study on ITU Study Group 13, and a reflection piece that assesses relevant trends relating to internet-related policy in multilateral forums and their implications for civil society participation. - ITU Study Group 13 <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-itu-t-study-group-13/> - ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2014 <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-itu-plenipotentiary-co...> - ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-itu-plenipotentiary-co...> - WSIS+10 Review <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-wsis10-review/> - Trans-Pacific Partnership <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-the-trans-pacific-part...> - UNHRC 38th Session <https://www.gp-digital.org/publication/advocacy-bytes-the-unhrc-38th-session...> Do reach out if you have any questions about the resources above - and of course, please share widely with anyone you think would be interested.Wishing you an excellent holiday season and happy New Year,Best, -- *Daniela Schnidrig* Co-Head of Policy and Advocacy GLOBAL PARTNERS DIGITAL Time zone: UTC | gp-digital.org *---GPD is proud to be an accredited four-day week organisation that cares about the well-being of its team.
