Hello colleagues. For a variety of reasons it's no longer feasible for me to continue as liaison to the NCSG (though I am happy to give a report in Dakar to finish my time in the post). I therefore nominate Evan Leibovitch for the role. Evan has made substantial strides in working across the various groups and factions of ICANN, and as the NCSG grows and evolves the ALAC will need someone like Evan who has good working relationships with all the key individuals. I also wish to propose Beau for the position of At-Large liaison to the Non-Profit-Organization Constituency (NPOC). The NPOC is a newly-formed body that shares many common interests and objectives with At-Large, A strong relationship between the two of us will certainly be mutually beneficial. To that extent, in the Dakar meeting I will be proposing creation of a position of At-Large liaison to the NPOC, and nominating Beau to serve in that role. - Evan
I echo Evan's perception of the NPOC Constituency vis-a-vis ALAC and intend to support a formal definition and creation of a liaison position in the ALAC.
