I have uploaded the revised Whois templates. Changes: 1. A new template has been added prior to Recommendation 1 on the Board adoption of the RT report. 2. Substantial changes to the Community input column including references to the Puclic Comments and other input. 3. The only other change is in the ATRT analysis of the Rec 5 implementation where I replaced the paragraph of the forthcoming portal (which by the way is quite impressive). Alan

Edits to GAC-related report following Oct. 1 call

ATRT2 question: When were directors paid?

Folks, I probed this point more fully. The resolution was passed December 8, 2011. It took a while to complete election forms, i.e. whether a director wished to forgo or accept payment, and also to evaluate the tax implications. Payments started at different times for different directors based on the time it took to complete the administrative paperwork, but payments were calculated from the time of the Board's resolution. Thus, even if the first payment was delayed, it included payment for the full period. In two cases, it took a bit longer than it did for the others, but the extra delay was at the request of the specific director and was related to their personal situation. In terms of satisfying the ATRT1 recommendation, I believe Dec 8, 2011 is the correct date to use. The delays after that were administrative issues. I can easily understand complaints about the administrative delays, but they are similar in nature to delays related to reimbursement of travel expenses, etc. In the case of payments to directors, the delays surrounding the first payments were a one-time issues and I don't believe they have been or are likely to be a problem with subsequent directors. Conference call and comments

Dear all, Unfortunately I cant attend the conference call today because of other obligations but I have following comments to the templates: Finance: I have no objections against Carlos extra recommendations regarding finances. GAC: I agree with Jørgens mail of Sunday 29 September, that our statements have to be fact-based and we need to refine some of the statements. I can support the changes proposed. Language: I did not have the time to incorporate ICCs findings regarding language in the template before sending it to the group. I think the findings are very important, and they should be a part of the language template but I am not able to incorporate them before next weekend. So if anyone feels like doing it go ahead! I hope you will have a constructive meeting. Best, Lise

Board compensation clarification

Amy Stathos has supplied the following documentation - board resolutions addressing remuneration for the Board Chair and the rest of the voting Board members. Please note that the approved resolutions call for the compensation to become effective on the day following each of the resolutions, respectively.
