Good Day, As an regular buyer of domain names and one who appreciates the stability in the domain registry industry, I believe the actions of your body are very critical and can go a long way to affect not just business in the industry but also users around the world. For this reason I believe that critical decisions like this new contract with Verisign should be the result of thorough discussions and deliberations with the stakeholders. This will ensure that the interests of the many are included in the decision making and that no foul play is perceived in the way things are handled. I strongly disagree with ICANN's decision to increase .com domain price; web should always remain accessible to anyone. Raising a price of .com domain would seriously hinder the growth of indie web developers and small startups.

Hello Icann, Please do NOT allow the greedy Verisign proposal. It hurts everyone and serves no purpose than to take even more money away from businesses and everyone who uses the internet. They are already a monopolistic company teetering on the edge of the law, but already beyond ethics. I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Hello, I find the upcoming changes in the new deal between Verisign and ICANN is wrong. Important big decisions like this wich will affect millions of internet users should not be down to only two companies to decide. The internet consumers, both users and the industry as a whole should be listened to in big important deals like this. In many countries there are competion rules that wouldnt allow near monopolies like this being created. Please listen and respect the rest of us users and keep important deals like this transparent and open for inputs from all users of the net. We are one world. Lets work together and.
