Dear ICANN, I don't approve of the new Rate Hikes you have implemented. You asked none of us who use these services and by these domains, if we would like this to happen, yet it will affect all of us. Maybe we need to get rid of your organization and get one that will serve our interest, not your own. This is simply intolerable, and we will work toward getting rid of your leadership, in favor of one that will taking their duty seriously looking after their membership. this is not your private Piggy Bank where you can rape and pillage ask and not have a consequence. This is really sad! These changes will make .Com domains less accessable for the public. This means people will have a harder time operating their websites. I don't believe this is good for anyone. It certainly will put pressure on online marketers with little money. This can not be good for future business for either part.

By implementing indiscriminate price increases in a manner that is neither open nor transparent, ICANN will bleed businesses dry. Then where will the money come from? Everyone has their hand out when a business opens it's doors, whether it's a brick-and-mortar enterprise or strictly online. Both types need an Internet presence, but the cost for both is becoming prohibitive. Taxes, licenses, fees...it all adds up and makes the cost of doing business hardly worth it. Now here comes an ICANN price increase and businesses get to keep even less revenue to try to stay afloat. The ICANN manufactured processing arguments are meaningless. The cost of processing has gone up? Provide the figures and documentation to prove it. What's more, the Board needs to step up and not only take responsibility for making a decision that will impact so many on such a large, detrimental scale, but also do their due diligence and analyze the issue before implementing any increases, IF they're found to be warranted and reasonable.

What are ICANNs plans for the additional $20 million in revenue this change brings? Why was this deal brokered behind closed doors instead of in a public forum when this affects almost all webmasters and hosting providers across the world? Across the board this change comes across as shady and only being done for an increase in profit/revenue with no regards to its impact. Sent from my iPhone
