You want to make the internet another place only the wealthy can thrive? Middle class and below already struggle to launch businesses and communities and adding cost after cost will hurt this and the open Internet. This is shameful profiteering and it needs to be corrected immediately. CANCEL THIS AMENDMENT.

Just wanting to add my voice to those who have already decried the unbridled price increases on .com domains. I understand the need to raise additional funds, but to put the burden on one single extension seems both unfair and reckless. If a more moderated increase was spread out across all the extensions, the amount of money could be reached without gouging the existing .com market. The internet was intended to share information and be accessible to everyone. By allowing private investment to increase prices of .COM registration you are limiting the accessibility the internet is supposed to provide. Do the right thing and don't allow Verisign to extort exorbitant .COM fees for their personal profit. -Grant

Hi, Please do not raise the .com prices and also please provide more transparency about how the funds from Verisign will be spent to improve the systems. The price increases will make .com domains less accessible for individuals and small business that already have .com domains and want to get started with a new .com domain name. Thanks Marc Ready

Please reconsider your .com domain pricing. The internet is an incredible resource, and .com dimains are a big part of that. Gating them behind higher fees reduces their accessibility, a net negative for the web ecosystem. Please be the stewards of internet domains that we need.

This proposed amendment, adopted behind closed doors, is non-transparent and blatantly anti-consumer. This represents a textbooks example of institutional corruption.
