We are going to start our work on *EURALO Outreach and Engagement Strategy* for 2020 and I kindly ask you to express your interest to join this Working Team. Dear all, I thank Matthias for this great report and would like to put my short report as additional part: I`d like to highlight: *IGF2019 in General*: - Perfect organization of the event. - Very convenient location and navigation, clear schedule of sessions - Large space of the village and a comfortable and beautiful area of stands - high quality broadcasts. I can noted incredible, perfect coordinated work of all At-Large members and support of ICANN colleagues, that is important to show the IGF visitors our common efforts and interaction. *Work at the booth*: We got wonderful light convenient place for the booth 50, we almost haven`t use the printed brochures. But used the QR code to direct people to the site. We occupied a place opposite our EURALO ALS (TaC-Together against Cybercrime) and not far from the ICANN booth. And we moved and communicated with people everywhere (and took selfies and photos with Göran Marby -). *Visitors*: - a lot of visitors and interested guests, especially young people (representatives of IGF youth are particularly interested, some have already sent requests in letters, in messages in social networks and were forwarded to the appropriate RALO). I know at least 1 person which email I re-sent to APRALO as request to join. - We met and had dialogs with Russians: academic, technical folks, researchers, representers of human rights protection organizations, the society for the protection of the Internet, representatives of state programs of new generations of leaders. *Flash session*: We had a great event – the fantastic Flash session about At-Large, thank Olivier for the excellent lead (as always) and the guests who had an interest and ability to come. *What we may to improve:* - We need to have an digital enter for interested guests. The form for filling and sending to each RALO (with Names, affiliated organization, detected country and interest to join us). It will be easier to count our metrics. - More people at the booth. My two days of work there almost don`t allowed me to visit IGF session/SEEDIG open session etc. - We need madam ALAC Chair and O&E subcommittee Chair at IGF2020 for sure - In the future we need to incorporate somehow our Flash session into IGF village event agenda (at least to identify before the IGF week the day/time). It allows us have more participants and and guests. *EURALO General Assembly* We held the great productive EURALO General Assembly lively discussion about the presents and future steps. Great opportunity for f2f meeting with our ALSs, getting the last news and opinions regarding our joint work. Thank for this Sebastien Bachollet, Olivier Crepin-Leblond, Gisella Gruber. All community leaders and ICANN Board members who found the time to participate and support GA. Great work did Yrjo to prepare the plan for the Improving EURALO’s engagement with ALS’es and individuals. IGF2019 was pretty good and we can see the result as new interested members join us and the great OE work done. We will do our work even better next time with this succsesful story. We were discussing the possibility to reshape our representation the covering the activities of Euralo in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. This region is still not actively represented in our RALO and we should to start to change this situation. That’s a good point but there were also at least three events where people were involved: 1. DNS Forum, Moscow 2. UADOM, Kyiv 3. SeeDIG Following this meeting, let me suggest for the discussion the next possibility activities: - Natalia invited me to participate in the open "ICANN65 readout webinar" (scheduled on July 11) with a short presentation about our work and the opportunity to join Euralo. The participants – the stakeholders in ICANN, the Regions – Eastern Europe and Central Asia. (Previous at-Large participant, Liana Galstyan, presented APRALO). For the participation i will prepare a short presentation (if we already have it or infographics, i may use it) about the mechanism of our work explaining how the opinion of end users is transformed during the work into part of the policy development process. - The Interaction with RIPE NCC. According to preliminary data, the representatives of engagment interested in beginning such work. (We can hold joint open webinars after each RIPE or ICANN meetings, for example). It is a good idea: EURALO already did this for example concerning the GDPR (https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=79434910) but there is always space to make more webinars I assume?! It is just a matter of organizing them and finding people who are willing to present ;-)! - We need to start a new tradition to replace the (a little bit) passive position in the region to active role by the invitation of the appropriated organizations (to organize f2f meetings or online-webinars) if this organizations are not yet our ALSs, but potentially may bring to our work a lot of useful suggestions, experience of best solution (I mean the organizations which are working on the Internet right and freedom protection field, as an example). - We should to use the opportunity of the physical presence with short introduction presentations at events in the region (we are talking about events which don`t required the funding for the presence). This is already implied theoretically, but practically we don`t use this possibility. I also support this idea ;-)! I kindly ask you to give the feedback and comments. We were discussing the possibility to reshape our representation the covering the activities of Euralo in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. This region is still not actively represented in our RALO and we should to start to change this situation. That’s a good point but there were also at least three events where people were involved: 1. DNS Forum, Moscow 2. UADOM, Kyiv 3. SeeDIG Following this meeting, let me suggest for the discussion the next possibility activities: - Natalia invited me to participate in the open "ICANN65 readout webinar" (scheduled on July 11) with a short presentation about our work and the opportunity to join Euralo. The participants – the stakeholders in ICANN, the Regions – Eastern Europe and Central Asia. (Previous at-Large participant, Liana Galstyan, presented APRALO). For the participation i will prepare a short presentation (if we already have it or infographics, i may use it) about the mechanism of our work explaining how the opinion of end users is transformed during the work into part of the policy development process. - The Interaction with RIPE NCC. According to preliminary data, the representatives of engagment interested in beginning such work. (We can hold joint open webinars after each RIPE or ICANN meetings, for example). It is a good idea: EURALO already did this for example concerning the GDPR (https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=79434910) but there is always space to make more webinars I assume?! It is just a matter of organizing them and finding people who are willing to present ;-)! - We need to start a new tradition to replace the (a little bit) passive position in the region to active role by the invitation of the appropriated organizations (to organize f2f meetings or online-webinars) if this organizations are not yet our ALSs, but potentially may bring to our work a lot of useful suggestions, experience of best solution (I mean the organizations which are working on the Internet right and freedom protection field, as an example). - We should to use the opportunity of the physical presence with short introduction presentations at events in the region (we are talking about events which don`t required the funding for the presence). This is already implied theoretically, but practically we don`t use this possibility. I also support this idea ;-)! I kindly ask you to give the feedback and comments. Invitation to contribute to the very first IGF in Hungary

Dear Colleagues, Joanna Kulesza is in receipt of a personal invitation to participate in the first IGF in Hungary in September. As you know, the ICANN Sakeholder tool on https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/ICANN+Stakeholder+Analysis+Tool shows that we only have 2 Individual members in Hungary and no ALS. A direct flight is 2000 pln today and accommodation for one night comes up to 300 pln, total 2300 plan so roughly 540 euros. I've CC'ed Joanna to add further information if required. The Hungarian IGF Web site is on: https://igfhungary.hu/ I think it would be a great way to propose a session that Joanna could lead. The Hungarian IGF is not on our Outreach Stratagic plan, but it is one of these local events that could target a specific country where we are missing an At-Large Structure, in our aim to have an At-Large-Structure in every EURALO country.
