Hi all, as a potential cancellation of the ICANN meeting in Cancun seems to be at least a possibility, do we have a plan B for replacing those face to face sessions? Given our tight schedule, it seems to me that losing those sessions may have detrimental impact on our work. -- Volker A. This webinar will provide an overview of the EPDP’s Phase 2 proposed recommendations for a Standardized System for Access and Disclosure (SSAD). This effort builds upon the EPDP’s Phase 1 work on enhancing Registration Data Services where, under certain circumstances, personal contact information is now redacted. The Phase 2 effort for developing the SSAD will allow for disclosure of this redacted contact information based on third-party legitimate interests, administration proceedings, and law enforcement needs, subject to applicable law and the rights of the data subject. The webinar will highlight each of the EPDP Team’s recommendations and will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and provide feedback on the Initial Report, which is currently out for public comment. Briefing of the Belgian DPA

Dear Team members, During the LA f2f meeting we were informed that ICANN org will continue dialogue with the European Data Protection Board via designated liaison - Belgian DPA. On the occasion of the meeting which is scheduled on 14 February, I have been invited to outline the state of the policy development by the EPDP. As the Initial Report has been published, I decided to accept this invitation by the Belgian DPA. I will strictly base my presentation on the policy proposals outlined in the Initial Report. During the next Team meeting I will brief the Team on the discussion of my presentation should there will be one. Thank you Jk

Milestone Project Package for Initial Report - 7 Feb. 2020

Dear All, Please find attached the EPDP-Phase 2 Project package that closes out January of 2020 and the Initial Report milestone. Because the milestone was so close to end-of-month January, no issue will be developed for 31 Jan. 2020. The project health remains on a "Revised Schedule" after the GNSO Council reviewed the revised project plan at its December meeting. The percent complete reports at 73% complete with a 69% elapsed time from when the project started. The public comment period closes 23 Mar. 2020.
