Rafik and Staff, May I suggest that this be re-issued with SOME indication at least on the cover page that this is an updated version. Otherwise there is no way a casual reader will know which version they have. Adding "Updated 25 August 2020" will do if you don't want to change the overall date of 31 July. Dear Rafik, Staff, and the ePDP team, [Resending with proper subject line] Per the deadline for minority statements, the SSAC is providing the enclosed document, SAC112, which encapsulates our minority statement. This document provides further background and rationale for the SSAC’s non-support of some of the recommendations in the final report, discusses issues not addressed by the report, and details concerns with some items we supported with reservations. This is an SSAC published document that has gone through our full review process and is thus the consensus view of the SSAC. We greatly appreciate having the deadline for minority statements extended so that we and other ACs could go through their formal processes to provide fully considered feedback outside of the GNSO processes that the EPDP works under. On a practical consideration, we do anticipate that the EPDP staff may wish to strip the SSAC document boilerplate from our statement for inclusion into the final report. Please work with the SSAC support staff if there are questions on how to best do that. Speaking of the EPDP staff, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to the EPDP support staff for their amazing work over the past years! Thank you to all for the massive amount of work that went into this document and the opportunity to participate and share our views as part of the process. We look forward to continuing to move forward constructively on finding a balanced, practical, consistent, and efficient solution for providing legal access to domain registration data. Regrettably, the final stages of this process were quite rushed as stakeholder groups were asked to review, digest, and confer over large amounts of material that raised complex issues. Over the last week, we attempted to identify and prioritize our concerns and resolve the scores of remaining issues. Despite three lengthy meetings, there was not sufficient time to discuss, much less resolve many crucial matters. Notably, we barely discussed the important category of issues that stakeholder groups would like to see changed. There was also considerable confusion over the final resolution of certain issues. As a result, we will need time to carefully review the now final version of the EPDP Report to pinpoint and finalize what will comprise the issues included in our minority statements. Like other stakeholder groups, the GAC has formal procedures for conferring with our members. This is an iterative process that requires time for membership to review proposed text, ask questions, and consider revisions until a final agreement is reached. This task is made more difficult due to the complexity of the subject matter and intervening religious and summer holidays. The Minority Statements are a crucial part of the multistakeholder model and for many groups will be the only opportunity to express and explain their concerns as part of the Final Report. Accordingly, we will need until August 24th to complete this important responsibility. We will try to submit our Minority Statements earlier than that if possible. We appreciate your understanding. Follow up - Beware of malicious emails

Hello again! After reporting this to our tech team, they responded with the request and instructions below. Thank you for your help! We encourage people to report any suspicious messages to us. We appreciate these reports as they help us gauge the current threat landscape. We ask that users submit a copy of the full email message they received, with headers. In Outlook, this can be accomplished with the following steps: 1. Right-click (two-fingered click on your trackpad, or Option+Click) the desired message and select View Source toward the bottom of the list 2. A TextEdit window will appear. Go to the File menu at the top right. Hold the Option key and select Save As... 3. Save with a descriptive filename to your Desktop, then quit TextEdit with Command+Q. Send this text file to tech support as an attachment. (send to gnso-secs(a)icann.org<mailto:gnso-secs@icann.org> and we can forward to tech support for you) Thank you!
