Hi, There are rumours the meeting has been cancelled. ICANN issued a statement a few minutes ago, and it can be found here: <https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2014-10-26-en> > Following Morocco's recent request to postpone the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament because of possible African travel restrictions, ICANN is in active and ongoing discussions with our ICANN 52 Marrakech hosts. > > ICANN is considering postponing the meeting in Marrakech scheduled for 8-12 February, 2015 as the likelihood of travel restrictions being imposed on nationals from African countries would reduce participation in the meeting. I have also attached below the final compilation of answers to Q#15 & Q#16 for your convenience .. I'm not sure the nature of our charter is binding on the board in a legal sense. I would think we can find other words of equal strength that don't implicate a statement of legal fact. I would suggest a slight modification to "the ICANN Board can submit comments through the established procedures for public comment" this broader construct also covers the ability to comment on things other than the final proposal... Dear All .. Please find attached, and in Dropbox, an updated version of the ICG FAQ reflecting comments received at the f2f meeting and over email until 21 October 2014 .. Kindly note that I haven't crossed checked with the meeting transcripts yet but hope the attached accurately reflects all our discussions .. Also please note that we now have 3 alternative sentences as part of answer to Q#15 on ICG and the ICANN Board .. Jean-Jacques, you mentioned that you are ok with Milton's latest suggestion, please let me know if this means that I should delete your suggested wording ..
