Hello all, Here is the general ICANN Conflicts of Interest Policy (Adopted on 6 May 2012): https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/coi-2012-02-25-en, and attached is the specific Contractor Conflict of Interest policy that comes with the RfP package. As I mentioned, we will take the particular issue re conflict of interest within the context of ICG up within the sub-group and with the ICANN legal/procurement team. Thanks. - a.

Hi Adiel, after reviewing the ICANN conflict of internet policy, i am fine with proceed and publishing the RFP. in the proposals revaluation process we can raise any conflict of interest issues identified. . Open operational community processes

This is the same as my last message, but I changed the header (which I should have done last time). Floor layout for open ICG meeting Thursday of LA

All, FYI, the discussion with ICANN on how to deal with logistics for the open meeting in LA is proceeding. I just got the first ideas of floor plans possible. ICANN board and us are two specific groups using this room. My feedback on these is that I think both of these layouts are possible, at least in theory. Exactly whether 30 chairs are possible to have beside each other, or whether they should be two rows, for example on the stage is unknown. But the goal to get all ICG participants "on stage" should be possible as it seems. Patrik

Russ, the proposal I made a minute ago in order to address some points that were raised about early engagement by the ICG with communities: 1) Extend the "Prep" phase in the spreadsheet for Step 2: "ICG Develops Draft Response" back to the point where we publish the RFP. 2) Add to the text description of Step 2: "In preparation for this step the ICG will follow discussions in the communities. During this preparation the ICG will provide any needed clarifications to the communities. At this stage the ICG will also give feedback to the communities about completeness of the proposals under developments." Daniel

I agree. An ICG-GAC meeting would be very helpful. Even if the agenda is only a meet and greet session, with hopefully time to hear key concerns/hopes for our undertaking. Hopefully close to our meeting. Could this be firmed up as soon as possible so that we can finalise travel? Might there be any other important stakeholders that we could consider or even arrange to meet as well?
