The web isn't just for the big corps. We need it to be for everyone, if we're going to support innovation, freedom, and widespread development. Verisign's offer of $20M isn't being generous. They will make more than than by raising the cost of domain names for everyone they can. The total costs ownership of websites can already be difficult for small businesses. Right now, domains and hosting are low costs, which offset all the costs of content and design. Let's keep domain costs low. Let's keep the web open to small businesses. Tell Verisign no deal.

Hello, It has come to my attention that your new agreement with Verisign will significantly increase .com domain prices over the next 10 years. As a web designer I oppose this agreement. This under the table agreement harms the end user and only seems to benefit ICANN and Verisign. Respectfully, Brent Eigsti

I use the Internet but I am not a .com registrant. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. I am a registrant of a .com domain name. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely the manager of the .COM Registry and therefore has NO business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. I am ABSOLUTELY against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.
