I am a registrant of a .com domain name and a reseller of domain names in conjunction with my small website design business. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains, as these will have to be passed on to clients, many of whom are small businesses. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. Hi, I want to express my disagreement with the proposed changes to ICANN wholesale domain price change. As I understand the proposal, you can increase prices up to 70% over the next decade. That is a travesty and blatant greed. Please stay with the current pricing structure. Thank you, Ravi Walsh

Don't hike the prices... Some of us can barely afford the domain that we want/need for business etc. (And that's without someone else already owning the domain / re-registration fees ). Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

THIS IS NOT OK WITH ME! Verisign agreed to pay ICANN an additional $20 million dollars over five years to support ICANN's domain name system initiatives, without any clarity about how ICANN will spend the money, or who will ensure that the funds are properly spent on domain infrastructure.

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The proposal would result in .COM price increases for registrants. The proposed 7% rate of increase is excessive and unjustified. Higher prices will make it more costly to maintain a long term domain registration. For registrants, it is essential to have the ability to register and keep a domain long term.
