I am a registrant of multiple .com domain names. I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices. The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. Please fulfill your duty to consumers, ICANN!!! Brian Sanders San Diego, California United States

I am a dominator (I invest in domain names as a company) or I am associated with the secondary market, I am against the proposed price increase for .com domains. This will affect me a lot. The current rate of $ 7.85 is already much more than justified and the average price of managing the infrastructure must certainly be decreasing over time and not increasing ... Verisign is simply your .COM registry administrator; ABSOLUTELY has nothing to dictate the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in public, and it should not raise prices in an unqualified and unconscionable way to those who pay for these domains. Verisign and ICANN do not need to increase the prices 7% over a four year period. ICANN does not need an additional $20 million dollars over five years from Verisign. Price controls need to be maintained for all domain names. Nobody want to see the domains increase for any reasons. Prices are already high enough. Let’s keep domain prices as they are. Thank you

ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest. A small increase here and there is fine although the current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified.
