Hi, Yes: it must be obviously “three-letter” in the mid of page 1 (“The CWG has interpreted this as comprising:…….. “). I do miss the “short forms” of country and territory names – as the 2012 AGB 2.2.1.4.1 is mentioning them. I like the final recommendation – but urge to make sure that nobody could misinterpret it in a way that “no policy can ever be created allowing country names & ISO 3166 II codes to be delegated”. THIS WG was unable to find a solution – other policy making groups have to take over (gNSO). Dear all, I have followed up in answering Annebeth's questions in the comments and have no fundamental objections. On one point I believe we have duplicate text in two places so we need to decide where to put it. I've noted that in a reply comment. New version attached. I do not agree with Timo's proposal at the end of the document to remove the reference in the recommendations section to the charter of the Subsequent Procedures PDP. This should not be a controversial statement, as the Charter is available and a public document. Dear All, Attached please find the draft with my comments. I strongly support Timo´s idea of including different paths to follow such as creating a new working group that continues to discuss the these issues and learns from the experience of this group. Thanks Joke for helping us all putting this together. Best, Rosalía

Indeed, thank you Susan, Annebeth, Alexander and others for spotting my typographical error. "two" should indeed be replaced with the word "three" in the point you're discussing. I'll follow up with other revisions based on Annebeth's questions very shortly. Some changes and comments from my part - in the first paragraph of the three-letter segment on page 2 I prefer the original wording (ICANN had not consistently extended the same protections and definitions to). Comment in the doc - added a new bullet point (second) to the examples of inconsistencies. - under recommendations added a request to find a wording for second recommendation that includes new CWG with elliminated deficiencies of this CWG - so that GNSO PDP is not proposed as an only way forward. I feel that GNSO with very strong interest in this matter is not a good choice for balanced cross community work and discussions related to policy of the usage of country codes and names.
