The implication of this letter from the ccNSO is that it will only proceed to approval with final proposals available for prior community review. And so as a result, the combined timetable we have been working to is not achievable: that chartering organisation will only be able to approve at/after an ICANN meeting, not before hand. It would be either Buenos Aires, or Dublin. Am I reading this right? best Jordan On 26 March 2015 at 17:13, Jonathan Robinson <jrobinson@afilias.info> wrote:

Unless there was an extraordinary meeting of the ccNSO(Is that possible?) outside of the general ICANN meeting process I think we are reading it the same way yes. Yes that's correct, however I think things are still pretty much in line, maybe extension of the COs submission period (which is currently 21days from end of may to mid June) by 1 or 2 weeks will suffice. More importantly, I think the outcome of the public comment would really determine how smooth the CO comment phase will look like. Cheers! sent from Google nexus 4 kindly excuse brevity and typos. I don't know how many times I questioned the very short window allotted for SO/AC approval but it was mostly ignored. I think it is unfortunate that the ccNSO is admitting that now instead of several months ago.
