Dear all, Dmitry, In attach You can find tables for Mongolia and Kazakhstan, c/p from IANA repository. Cheers, Dusan
Received. I would cross-check with Wikipedia and add to my "combined" table. Also, I have two proposals: 1) remove SU table (it's not a language, no tag); 2) find expert for Tatar Cyrillic - it is widely used and there is already TATAR gTLD (Latin). PS don't mind you reminding me by Friday. -- dk@

Dear Dmitry, I am not sure that removing the SU table is a good idea. The table was designed to contain all the symbols in Cyrillic scripts used in former USSR. So all of them have a chance to be used in the new gTLDs. On Sun, Jul 3, 2016 at 1:08 PM, Dmitry Kohmanyuk <dk@hostmaster.ua> wrote:

We do not live in USSR and there is no USSRish. If there would be a table for each language than I can add it. Personally, I think SU domain should not be ever used except as legacy (compare: CS, YU) but that's unrelated. -- dk@

Dear all, Regarding .SU table, without any politics or similar issues, we have some facts to consider: 1. The fact is that .su TLD is alive one 2. The fact is that .su have all Cyrillic letters from ex-USSR 3. The fact is that .su have all Cyrillic letters from today’s Russia Federation (including Tatar, f.e.) 4. The fact is that we don’t have experts in GP for many of Cyrillic languages (including most of today’s languages in RF) 5. The facts is that we need to focus our attention to those languages with EGDS <=4 (https://www.ethnologue.com/about/language-status) So, my recommendation would be that @dk prepares two combined tables – one with, and other without .su table. As far as I know, it’s not causing You more hard work, Dmitry? Second one would be our working table, and the first one will be our goal – to reach or find the experts with enough knowledge for that languages, so we can use full one with .su table. Any other opinions? I have already did exactly same. One can always see "SU-only" symbols. What is the case with USSR is that languages, which were used back when that country existed, could have changed their alphabets, like Tatar; in some cases, they even went to Latin, like Azeri. So we can use SU for reference (like, "what is that language we are looking for?" but it cannot be guaranteed that's changes which happened since 1991 are there; plus, if two languages would use specific characters we would not see that. So my ideal "SU-detailed" table would have list of languages for each character it has. But now it doesn't. -- dk@

Thanks! This is way more useful. I propose that we replace old SU table with "extra languages" table so we can have concrete references. No need to use county codes, just ISO language tags (I also should update this, was too lazy to look them up and used country codes, but it does not work for Tatar already.) -- dk@

Dear all
Just so you know, the week of 12 September is not ideal for the Istanbul option since there will be a holiday and the office will be closed, so for that location the suggested dates in Sept would be from the 19th.

It was my first suggestion, but some of the crucial members of ICANN stuff are not available.
So, we must choose another opportunity…
I am most likely not going to TLDCON (although there is a possibility.)
As for city, both Kyiv and Istanbul work for me. Have to look at exact dates for conflicts.

Hello,
What do you think about meeting at TLDCON (http://meeting.cctld.ru/en/)? It seems to be a proper place.

Dear all,
As we talked back in Marrakesh, after producing our repertoire, there is opportunity to have face to face meeting.
One of the idea is to have this meeting in mid-September and mid-October.
Maybe September is even better, to allow for more time before ICANN57.
For the place of meeting, suggestions are Kiev (during IGF) or Istanbul (ICANN office).
What You think and what is Your preference?
Waiting for Your replies…
Cheers,
Dusan

Hello Dmitry,
I think it is worth checking for the Chechen alphabet.
All of them are worth checking :)
I did two tables for languages that I know a little, I think true experts are needed :)

Thanks!
This is way more useful.
I propose that we replace old SU table with "extra languages" table so we can have concrete references.
No need to use county codes, just ISO language tags (I also should update this, was too lazy to look them up and used country codes, but it does not work for Tatar already.)

Dear Dmitry and all,
The attached table contains the list of alphabets for the symbols from the SU codepoints without any other languages.
One of the symbols seems to be deprecated, and the others are in use.

Dear Dmitry,
According to https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Җ, you are right. I will try to find the corresponding alphabets for the other SU-only code points next week.

Hi everybody,
I have cross-checked tables against Wikipedia page (no corrections, as expected.) Merged tables follow:
Dmitrys-MacBook:cyrillic-wg dmitrykohmanyuk$ ./codejoin.pl tables/* tables/su/su_table.txt > chars-plus-mnkz-su.txt
Dmitrys-MacBook:cyrillic-wg dmitrykohmanyuk$ ./codejoin.pl tables/* > chars-plus-mnkz.txt
Dmitrys-MacBook:cyrillic-wg dmitrykohmanyuk$
I also looked at Tatar alphabet; as we have Kazakh and Mongol tables, it is almost complete except for code point: “Җ <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D2%96>” (U-0497 ?)
Once anybody can can find an expert on Tatar language and encoding, we can add this for reference (I need a second opinion!)
So, here is my draft Tatar table -
And here are edited Mongol and Kazakh tables -
Merged tables, with and without SU set:

Dear all,
I am not sure about Istanbul at all now :-) May be Minsk or Belgrad?
What is wrong with Mother of all Russian cities? Belgrade Or Minsk also works.
I love Kiev (and Kyiv too), but it's much more simple to get from Moscow to Minsk than to Kiev.
Are this group meeting locations are decided only by vote of Moscow residents? I flew to Moscow for ENOG. It is a quick connection in Minsk. As a bonus, immigration formalities are performed there so no big queue as in Domodedovo. As a bonus, you can fly to IEV (Zhulyany) which is right in the city so your taxi costs 2 euro.
Hello all, I am here again and ready to discuss the place and time of the face-to-face meeting. So what is expected to do to decide about it? On Mon, Jul 18, 2016 at 5:58 PM, Dmitry Kohmanyuk <dk@hostmaster.ua> wrote:
