Save the Date: IRTP-D Implementation Review Team Call Thursday 21 January 2016 2000UTC
by Caitlin Tubergen Jan. 7, 2016

Jan. 7, 2016
Hi, Team. Happy New Year! The public comment period for IRTP-D is now closed. The public comments received can be found here: http://forum.icann.org/lists/comments-irtp-d-implementation-10nov15/. Two comments were received: the RySG fully supports the draft Transfer Policy, and the ALAC commented about the need for clear and accessible information on the transfer process and the dispute resolution process for non-compliant transfers per Recommendations 11 and 12. The next IRTP-D Implementation Review Team call will be held on Thursday, 21 January at 2000UTC. During the call, we will discuss changes to the ICANN website to account for Recommendations 11 and 12, pasted below for reference. Recommendation #11: The WG recommends that ICANN take the necessary steps to display information relevant to disputing non-compliant transfers prominently on its web site and assure the information is presented in a simple and clear manner and is easily accessible for registrants. Recommendation #12: The WG recommends that ICANN create and maintain a user-friendly, one-stop website containing all relevant information concerning disputed transfers and potential remedies to registrants. Such a website should be clearly accessible from or integrated into the ICANN Registrants’ Benefits and Responsibilities page. The call will be recorded for those who are unable to attend. Please find the dial-in information for the next call below: Link to Adobe Connect: https://icann.adobeconnect.com/irtpd/ *Upon logging into Adobe Connect, a pop up window will provide you the option to Dial Out to your Phone.
