Dear NCPH Leaders,
I have recently had a discussion with the leadership of the CSG about the current unfortunate stalemate that has developed in the election for Board Seat 14. I understand that they have determined it best to discuss putting forward a compromise candidate for the seat. As I have expressed to a number of you in discussions, I personally am concerned by the obvious disfunction in the NCPH that is amply demonstrated in this election process, and I hope this new move will be successful in an effort to find a compromise acceptable to all sides.
In that spirit, I am formally withdrawing from the process. Please convey my appreciation to the membership of the NCPH for their collaboration and support during my term so far, and my decision outlined here. Of course I am committed to continuing my active and positive role on the Board as your representative for the last few months of my term. I look forward to meeting you all in London in the next few days.
