Revised Terms of Reference Draft for Work Track 5
Dear Work Track 5 members, The next Work Track 5 call is scheduled for Wednesday 20 December at 20:00 UTC for 90 minutes. During this call, the Work Track will review the attached update to the draft Terms of Reference, also available as a Google Doc here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J8iuUrfqCaVKdzeRN01vRhZAjb8KABRp_NwdDwkQ... . In this version, the leadership team sought to integrate and reconcile the feedback received from WT members to produce a ‘clean’ draft that is easier to navigate. At the beginning of the document, you will find overarching principles used in this review and revision process. Please review this document and join the call prepared to discuss the revised language. Dear All Thank you very much for the message I have sent some amendments to the document which I can not find any trace of those changes ? Why? I have noted that someone saying that the concept of Cross Community Working Group to Geo Name is outside the mandate Why? We gave not debated that issue Pls note that GAC in its conditions of participation referred to that concept It is therefore inappropriate that someone’s view dominate the requested conditions without being debated Regards Kavouss Sent from my iPhone

Dear Kavouss The ToR in its section on Membership Criteria says members participate in their individual capacity unless otherwise stated. Dear Aslam, Suggest reading the Attachments that Emily sent. Deliverables for the WG are within the Document, that was sent , see para 2 which reads: "2. The objective for Work Track 5 is to reach consensus on potential policy recommendations and/or implementation guidance regarding geographic names at the top level. Following the process set up for the existing Work Tracks, it will deliver proposed recommendations and related rationale (i.e., Initial Report) to the full Working Group for consideration and possible adoption as PDP WG recommendations. Consensus levels for all recommendations will be determined per the decision-making section below. Humbly suggesting that we all read the documents and offer our comments at the call.
